Friends,
I wanted to share with you some of the latest updates to the creek restoration project.
First of all we have now raised $49,260.26 of our $60,000. If you have a few bucks to spare and care about fixing Tenmile Lakes, please consider donating. Donation can be done online at www.tenmilelakes.com/support or stop by Ringo's Lakeside Marina to donate in person. The TLA is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit.
Approximately 18 people attended my first site tour. Lots of good question asked. It was especially nice to see so many new faces interested in the project! The next site tour is being scheduled for either the first or second week in December. I'll communicate the details as soon as have them.
Our engineer is nearly completed with our design! The estimate was within a few weeks we will have the document in our hands. I will publish this as soon as we get it. Obviously this will be a milestone for the project and once we have it in hand, our focus will turn to the no-rise survey and mixing study.
I was interviewed for a article that was published on October 16 in The World/Umpqua Post. If you have not seen it, here is the link to the online story. My thanks to Adam Robertson for the well written article!
As always, if you have any questions regarding this project please call me at (541)297-9489. If I don't answer, please leave a message and I'll call you back.
Cheers,
John 'Ringo' Reiss
