Annual Large Item Pick Up

Over the past weekend, volunteers from TLA used a donated boat to push a barge around Tenmile Lake and collect large, unwanted items from lake front properties. Items included a wood stove, electric stoves, a refrigerator, and various other belongings. The items were delivered to Ken & Julie Robbers who then took everything in their dump trailer to the waste management plant. Several of the salvageable items were donated to individuals.

So many items were collected this year, it took two trips to dispose of everything. A special thank you to Dennis Crismore (Shoreline Services), Ken & Julie Robbers, John Reiss (Ringo's Marina), and Alan Whitney for their donated time and equipment.
